With the introduction of the new Standards-Based Curriculum, Master Your English Skills has been written to help students achieve the National Content Standards for Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, Communication and English Grammar. It is based on Glenda's student activity sheets but now arranged as a sequential program to provide relevant texts and activities for students and teachers following the new syllabus.
The accompanying Grade 10 Teacher Guide has to teach notes for each Unit in the Student Book. It has answers to all the exercises in the Student Book and 'Resource pages' which can be photocopied for tests and assignments. It also includes the list of Content Standards from the Grade 10 English Syllabus.
This Grade 10 Student Book is arranged in 21 Units covering Terms 1, 2 and 3. Within each Unit there are six sections: 1 Text, 2 Language study, 3 Apply your skills, 4 Grammar, 5 Word Study, 6 Communication.
