Business Card Options

Choose from our range of paper or finishes to make your business card stand out.

Paper type
Matte and gloss paper are coated sheets that appear smooth. Gloss appears smoother and shinier than matte. Glossy photo paper is shinier—this makes the colour in your images “pop” on the sheet. The extra shine works well on print files with heavy colour coverage, especially photographs and big graphics.

Celloglaze
Cello glazing is a common finishing option in printing, but not everyone knows what it is. Commonly used on business cards, presentation folders and booklet covers, it offers a high-quality finish to your printed jobs. Available in both gloss and matt options, cello glazing offers a professional look and feel to the finished product by adhering to a thin sheet of film using heat and pressure. It has a smooth, silky feeling and also offers added protection and durability to your print job which is very difficult to remove. Not to be confused with spot UV, cello glazing typical covers the entire surface area of a printed product.

Design Guidelines
Landscape Business CardPortrait Business Card

Get your artwork print ready. Our standard Business Cards are 90mm x 55mm.

Bleed Size
This area will be cut off when your document is cut to size. To allow your design to display right to the edge, the machine needs 5mm over the trim size. That also means anything you require displayed should be within this area.

Trim Size
This will be the final size of your document after the 'bleed' has been trimmed off. Please make sure there are no trim or registration marks on your document.

Safe Margin
This is to ensure that the information or graphics you want to be displayed is not cut off from the final product. Please allow a 5mm margin around your document.

Landscape (90mm X 55mm) Artwork Requirements

1. Set up the design file at exactly 96mm X 61mm.
DO NOT ADD CROP MARKS OR CUT LINES OF ANY KIND.
2. Fill the entire file with a background image for a full bleed print.
DO NOT LEAVE A BORDER.
3. Keep all text and critical images inside the safe zone - 84mm X 49mm.
4. All Photos should be suitable for printing at the intended size without pixelation or distortion.
5. Convert all fonts to outlines and flatten all layers, and save to PDF
(Press Quality Settings).

Portrait (55mm X 90mm) Artwork Requirements

1. Set up the design file at exactly 61mm X 96mm.
DO NOT ADD CROP MARKS OR CUT LINES OF ANY KIND.
2. Fill the entire file with a background image for a full bleed print.
DO NOT LEAVE A BORDER.
3. Keep all text and critical images inside the safe zone - 49mm X 84mm.
4. All Photos should be suitable for printing at the intended size without pixelation or distortion.
5. Convert all fonts to outlines and flatten all layers, and save to PDF
(Press Quality Settings).

Files that do not match these requirements exactly will be subject to editing or artwork fees.
