The VL150 LED Video Light is a lightweight and compact LED monolite-style light source that is ideal for portrait, still life, and location photography, as well as video applications. The daylight-balanced COB LED has a CRI of 96 and a TLCI of 95, resulting in very accurate colour renderings and incredibly lifelike skin tones. The VL150 light body is controlled and powered by an external controller, allowing it to be small and lightweight. It has a whisper-quiet fan and an inbuilt Bowens-style reflector attachment, allowing it to work with various light modifiers.
The controller box has a single V-mount battery plate, an LCD display with simple controls, and a command dial for making local changes to the light body. Wireless adjustments may also be made using the supplied radio remote or Bluetooth-enabled portable devices with the GodoxPhoto app, available as a free download for iOS and Android smartphones.
