The Grade 5 Mathematics Program is made up of three books. The Teacher's Resource Book outlines the contents of the Grade 5 Mathematics Program and contains information about materials, assessment and language, as well as many activities for you to choose from for each unit. It has been designed to help you to teach mathematics successfully in your classroom. The two Student Books for Grade 5 are for the students to use as you teach your maths lessons. A detailed scope and sequence showing the sequential development of the topics for the whole of Lower Primary, from Grade 3, through Grade 4 to Grade 5 can be found in the Lower Primary Mathematics Syllabus on pages 9 to 19.
