Business in Melanesia Book 1 is designed to serve the next generation with current knowledge of the dynamic business environment through an enhanced understanding of business principles and practices. It provides comprehensive topics with a strong grounding in business studies education and entrepreneurship. It contains business concepts, skills and knowledge that sow the seeds of entrepreneurship.
I had the privilege to edit the book, and can quite comfortably say that the language used is simple. It is reader-friendly, gender inclusive, and culturally relevant to the Melanesian context. Throughout the chapters, review questions and problems are provided to challenge the reader's knowledge and understanding.
This book is particularly tailored towards the needs of business studies students and teachers in secondary schools of Papua New Guinea. However, some chapters are relevant to others across Melanesia.
I strongly recommend that all secondary and high schools in the country use this book.
