Theodist Backs Local Autism Advocate with Essential Support

Rosemary began her advocacy two years ago after her eldest son was diagnosed with autism, and she has since dedicated herself to raising awareness and offering much-needed support to families navigating autism in Papua New Guinea. “I’m very grateful to Theodist for understanding how important this work is and providing the support when I needed it most,” she shared.

Through her Facebook page, PNG Autism Advocacy, Rosemary shares valuable information, encourages conversations around autism and connects with families who are looking for resources and support. She aims to bring greater awareness and understanding to communities across PNG. “There are so many families who face similar experiences to mine, and I wanted to create a platform where we can share, learn, and raise awareness together,” she explained.

Previously, Rosemary had to rely on a shared tablet for her advocacy efforts, which limited her ability to reach more families and expand her work. The new laptop from Theodist will allow her to broaden her efforts, improving both her advocacy outreach and the support she offers to families.

Autism affects communication and social interaction and often leads to unique challenges for those living with the condition, as well as their families. Rosemary’s advocacy helps bridge the gap between understanding and acceptance in PNG, where resources for autism are still limited.

At Theodist, we believe in giving back to the community, especially in areas where we can make a meaningful impact. We’re excited to see the positive impact this support will have on Rosemary’s advocacy work and are proud to be part of her mission to help families across Papua New Guinea
