We firmly uphold the belief that education is a powerful force for creating positive change. As a result, we place a strong emphasis on supporting educational initiatives.
Last Saturday, we had the pleasure of teaming up with Badihagwa Secondary School in Port Moresby. Together, we organized a sausage sizzle fundraiser with the goal of raising funds to construct new classrooms for the school.
The event was a huge success, with all sausage sizzles and beverages sold out in just two hours. The proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards building a new four-classroom block to accommodate the growing number of new grade eight students at the school.
In addition to the sausage sizzle, we also hosted the popular "Throw the Dice" challenge at our Port Moresby, Lae, and Mt. Hagen stores. This gave our customers a chance to win some amazing prizes while supporting a good cause.
Mrs. Pena, the deputy principal of Badihagwa Secondary School, expressed her sincere gratitude to Theodist for organizing the event. She said that the new classrooms would have a significant impact on the lives of the students and that Theodist's commitment to education was truly inspiring.
