Theodist Renews Annual Sponsorship for Life PNG Care

The official presentation was held at Theodist’s Port Moresby showroom, with key representatives from both organizations and members of the media in attendance.

“This partnership perfectly reflects Theodist's core values of empowering individuals and fostering positive change,” said Theodist Limited’s Business Development Manager, Ryan Pini. “We are honored to continue supporting Life PNG Care, a remarkable charity that is making a significant difference in the lives of many children in our country. Their vision of providing quality education, healthcare, and life skills to disadvantaged children aligns perfectly with our mission.”

Echoing these sentiments, Kumar Baliah, CEO of Theodist Ltd, added, “As an organization deeply rooted in PNG, we take immense pride in supporting the communities in which we live and operate. This sponsorship renewal not only strengthens our partnership with Life PNG Care but also reaffirms our commitment to fostering education and development for the future leaders of Papua New Guinea.”

Theodist's sponsorship will directly support Life PNG Care's initiatives that aim to provide quality education, healthcare, and life skills to disadvantaged children through the Strongim Pikinini Education Program, support over 700 children in schooling this year, and continue providing Out of Home Care to 75 children.

Founder and Director of Life PNG Care, Collin Pake, expressed his deep gratitude for Theodist's unwavering support. “On behalf of the Board and management of Life PNG Care, I extend our heartfelt thanks to the management and staff of Theodist Ltd for their tremendous support. Their annual sponsorship of K25,000 has been instrumental in impacting the lives of many vulnerable children and youths in Papua New Guinea over the last six years.”

Highlighting the significant achievements made possible through this partnership, Pake mentioned the graduation of two university students who are now working professionals. “This particular donation will go towards assisting over 700 children in schooling this year. It is a very significant and timely donation for Life PNG Care to continue putting our underprivileged children to school.”

He shared success stories of students like Erase Touai from Goilala, who graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from UPNG in 2022 and is now a working professional, and Tania Kalop, who graduated with a Bachelor in Arts Graphics and Design in 2024 and is also currently employed. These achievements underscore the deep impact of Theodist’s support on individual lives and the broader community.

Pake also emphasized the ongoing challenges faced by Life PNG Care in sustaining their programs, especially with the increasing number of out-of-school children in PNG. “Our country’s development and future growth are entirely dependent on an educated population. Together with Theodist Ltd and other partners, we can shape and change the future we desire. Let’s work together to build a stronger community.”

With Theodist’s support, Life PNG Care will continue to provide essential services and opportunities to vulnerable children, empowering them to achieve their dreams and become future leaders of Papua New Guinea.

“We look forward to a long and impactful journey together, inspiring future generations and leaving a lasting impact on the communities we serve,” concluded Ryan Pini.
