Theodist Supports Future Talent with the OJT Program

Theodist Supports Future Talent with the OJT Program

This initiative, which we have proudly run since 2017, reflects our dedication to empowering the next generation by providing them with real-world experiences that bridge the gap between education and employment.

Throughout the program, the students were fully integrated into the daily operations of Theodist's Printing Solutions Team. They worked closely with our seasoned professionals, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of printing techniques and technologies.

From graphic design and digital press operations to lamination, binding, cutting, folding, and stamp design production, the students were exposed to the full spectrum of our industry’s processes. They also had the opportunity to operate cutting-edge equipment like the HP Latex 560 and the KM C4070, giving them practical insights into the capabilities and particulars of modern printing.

A key highlight of the program was the chance for students to witness the entire production process, from initial design to the finished product. This comprehensive experience not only enhanced their technical skills but also deepened their understanding of the printing industry, preparing them for future careers.

Trainee Lillian Tanikrey shared her gratitude for the experience: "Theodist Ltd provided us with an invaluable opportunity to learn about the complexities of printing that we usually only see in the final products. The hands-on skills and techniques we gained here are something we couldn’t have fully grasped in the classroom."

To recognize the students’ efforts and commitment, Theodist Printing Solutions hosted a small ceremony where the trainees were awarded certificates of competency. Printing Manager, Mr. Joven Havana, commended the students for their achievements and encouraged them to continue their educational and professional journeys.

At Theodist Limited, we believe that supporting education and community development is not just a responsibility but a privilege. Programs like this OJT, which we’ve been running for several years, are part of our broader commitment to giving back to the community by helping young Papua New Guineans build the skills they need for a successful future.

By providing practical training opportunities, Theodist is helping to create a skilled workforce that will drive our nation forward.
