Theodist Thunders Give It Their All in PCNC Division One Grand Final

While the result wasn’t what we had hoped for, we are incredibly proud of how far the team has come this season.

From the very beginning of the season, the Thunders displayed determination, passion, and a fierce will to win. They pushed themselves to the limit in every match, showcasing their skill and unity on the court. Pacific Industries proved to be tough competition, but the Thunders never backed down, proving once again the heart and strength that have defined them all year long.

Though the outcome wasn’t in our favour this time, the Thunders’ unwavering commitment and resilience shone through. Team Manager Velea Wavuri reflected on the team’s journey:

"Reaching three consecutive grand finals is an amazing achievement. Every season, we get stronger, and we’re excited for what’s to come. This team is built on trust and hard work, and we’re committed to improving each year."

While the Thunders didn’t take home the win this season, we are far from discouraged. We’re already setting our sights on next season, motivated and ready to come back even stronger. The experience from this grand final, like all the others, will only make us better.

The Private Companies Netball Competition (PCNC) continues to be a significant event for women in the corporate world. It brings together hundreds of companies across Port Moresby, offering working women the chance to showcase their talents, build lasting connections, and participate in healthy competition.

At Theodist, we’re proud to support this initiative that encourages teamwork, empowerment, and personal growth for women. It’s more than just a competition—it's a community, and we're excited to continue being a part of it.

A heartfelt thank you to all our supporters. Your encouragement, passion, and belief in the Thunders keep us motivated, and we can't wait to come back next season even stronger.

Until then, we’re grateful for the journey and excited for what’s next.
